How to Download and Submit Your Recertification Application

We’ve made it simple for you to download and complete your recertification application. Follow the steps below to ensure your application is submitted successfully:

  1. Download the Application
    Click here to download the application form.

  2. Complete the Application
    Open the downloaded file and fill out all the required fields. Ensure that all information is accurate and your CLE is within 5 years before your expiration date. You must have participated in at least 75 hours of continuing legal education in elder law within the period of your current certification or most recent re-certification, with no more than 24 hours credited in any one year. You may request on the application for re-certification credit for up to 20 hours total (not per year) of continuing legal education credit for teaching courses, speaking at seminars, authoring books or articles and similar activities. Please visit your profile to view your recertification expiration date. 

  3. Save Your Completed Application
    Once you have completed the form, save it to your computer.

  4. Submit Your Application
    Email your completed application to Lisa Aukward at [email protected]. Please use the subject line: "Recertification Application Submission: [Your Full Name]."

Important Notes:

  • Ensure all required documents are attached to your email before submission.

  • Applications must be submitted by the deadline (recertification expiration date) to be considered.
